Lion's Choice® is a proud sponsor of the St. Louis County Library's 39th Annual Summer Reading Club. This is the 2nd year in a row that Lion's Choice® has supported the St. Louis County Library's mission to encourage children to read during the summer.

Lion's Choice® granted the St. Louis County Library $3,000 to help promote this program. In addition, Lion's Choice® provided the library with 25, 000 coupons to be inserted into registration packets for reading club participants. At the conclusion of the program, Lion's Choice® will open up it's Restaurant-on-Wheels, a self-contained kitchen trailer, in order to provide food for participants at the end of the summer parties which will celebrate each reader's hard work and success.

On June 2^nd , each library branch and all bookmobiles held registration for children ages 12 years and younger. Among other items, each reader's registration packet included a coupon for one free order of Lion's Choice� french fries, a Lion's Choice® bookmark with a complete list of store locations and an activity book filled with fun pages.

The Summer Reading Club will run from June 2, 2007 to August 4, 2007. In 2005, approximately 17,000 children registered and last year approximately 20,000 children registered. This year, The St. Louis County Library expects at least 20,000 participants.
